Dr. Todd Gwin joined Palmetto Eye and Laser Center in August 2023.  Originally from St Louis, Missouri, Dr. Gwin attended the University of Missouri where he graduated with his undergraduate degree and also his Medical Doctorate.  He completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Truman Medical Center.  He also did his Ophthalmology Residency at Storm Eye Institute at MUSC followed by a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship also at Storm Eye Institute. Dr. Gwin has practiced in Spartanburg for over 30 years and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).  During his career he has served as president of the South Carolina state society as well as the representative for the state of South Carolina to the national organization of the AAO.
